Finding True Comfort and Purpose, a message from Kelly

Though I knew of God my entire life, it wasn’t until my early thirties that I truly encountered Him as a personal comforter. My life had been marked by a pursuit of worldly success and a deep sense of unfulfilled purpose. As a divorced woman with three children, including one born outside of marriage, I struggled with shame and a sense of failure.

I often tried to cover up my sins and sought to create an ideal family image through re-marriage, disregarding the principles of healthy relationships and scriptural standards. Raised Catholic, I was familiar with guilt and believed that my worth was tied to my performance, leading me to compromise my values in search of love and approval.

After another failed relationship, and being quite desperate and defeated, I cried out to God in surrender. For the first time, I felt a profound peace and the comforting presence of the Holy Spirit. I realized that God is not just a set of rules but the embodiment of love and truth. This experience lifted the veil from my eyes, igniting a new understanding and fervor in my heart. The healing power of Christ is the foundation of my journey and my calling as a Christian Counselor, enabling me to share the Gospel and support others in their paths to healing and faith.
